Flexible searching

Search for events of interest, or for text that appeared onscreen, with a powerful natural language editor.

One-click navigation

Click on a marker or task in the project pane or along the timeline, and Manager displays the screen and camera video for that event.

Zooming timeline

Use Manager’s zooming timeline and Player controls to create new tasks, markers and clips and to navigate through recordings. Filter the markers and tasks you see along the timeline. Zoom in to view sections of the timeline more precisely.

Customizable graphs and graph templates

Customize graphs by filtering the types of data used to create the graph and editing the appearance of the graph (color, grid, bar type, font, etc.). Graph settings can be saved as reusable templates.

Automatic calculation of standard metrics

Morae automatically calculates and graphs the usability metrics specified in the Common Industry Format (CIF) standard – effectiveness, efficiency and satisfaction. Graphs are built with markers, tasks, marker scores and task scores logged in Observer or added in Manager.

An example project and an example common industry format report are included with the Manager software.

Exportable data tables

The data table contains the specific data for each recording and the minimum, maximum, mean and standard deviation statistics. Data tables can be viewed and exported.
